After college, I went to work in the operations side of the stock brokerage business. I quickly learned that I wanted more than a 9 to 5 opportunity, so I sought out advice from one of the brokers. He said, "Go sell insurance for a few years, and Northwestern Mutual is who you should talk to."

My father died three months after I started with Northwestern Mutual. He was 45 years old, a business owner and father of five. He died doing what he loved - flying his own airplane. Fortunately for my mom, he had enough life insurance to provide for the sale of the business, to help get my siblings through college, and to allow my 42-year-old mom to adjust without him.

My career involves developing personal relationships with clients to help them prepare for the exigencies of life, both expected and unexpected.

Inside the office, I am a proud co-leader of our Diversity & Inclusion Council and member of our Women's Advisory Group. In both cases, I strive to help my office continue to be an ever evolving and welcoming environment, giving each individual the chance to shine with the support of a strong office community.

Client Advisory Board

Feedback is required in order to grow.  In 2017, Sherri launched her first annual Client Advisory Board.  The intent was to learn what we should KEEP DOING, STOP, and CONTINUE in our practice direct from client's mouths.  Their words were heard, appreciated and have been put into practice to benefit you.
